Appreciated

She’s a woman you can depend on,
Always having her arms opened out for others,
She tries her best to support everyone,
More like something that would be done by mothers.
She never gets the appreciation she wants,
The feeling of neglect and being used,
She sits back and does nothing but wish,
Hoping that she can end this kind of abuse.
She wants to feel loved and important,
She can’t stand the feeling of being contrite,
She wants the people that she loves to notice her,
And let her know she’s doing something right.
She can’t help but be there for them,
They’re the reason her life is full of meaning,
Regardless of what happens she’ll always love them,
Because without them she’ll live a life still dreaming.
She’ll continue to do what she does,
She’ll continue to provide and keep them in good state,
But in return she doesn’t ask for anything large,
She just wants them to learn how to appreciate.
